    3. Scissors and yarn needle

    Pattern is written in standard American terms.
    CH — chain
    KSC — knit single crochet (also known as waistcoat st)
    SC — single crochet
    SC-BLO — single crochet in back loop only
    Sl st — slip stitch
    St(s) — stitch(es)
