The adult version of the Greenland pattern was launched in the fall of 2019. I didn't have high expectations, since the clothing patterns I'd published before had been flops. But surprise! It was the most popular of the year. This jacket/cardigan/poncho (I'm not sure what to call it) is perfect for cool mid-season days and summer evenings by the fire.

I had the adult version knitted by Karine from La rose du rang in the winter of 2020. It was a success! Then, many of you asked for the baby/child version, and that's what I crocheted in the summer of 2020. (It was supposed to be published in May, but with Covid… anyway). My lovely Gaëlle was a fantastic model… for a few seconds. I have to say, it's not pleasant to wear a jacket in the middle of a heatwave. Sorry, sweetie. But I was able to see that the design looked great on an 18-month-old.

The last pattern in this series is the Greenland Junior knit sweater, also designed by Karine. It's available in five sizes: 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-10 years. It's constructed in three sections: sleeve 1, sleeve 2, and the collar. We used Red Heart Soft, a size 4 yarn. Lion Brand's Heartland is a similar yarn, available in different colors.
Here is the number of balls needed:
Very small: 2 balls / Small: 2 balls / Medium: 3 balls / Large: 3 balls / Very large: 4 balls.
I hope you like this pattern as much as its crochet version!
Happy knitting!
