Quartier Artisan , whose mission is to support the entrepreneurial development of Quebec artisans, organized four informal discussion-style conferences in Kamouraska, Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, and Sherbrooke. Each evening featured two different guest entrepreneurs from each city, as well as Sitech, a digital expert working for Simon's. Participants were asked to share their experiences with online sales and answer questions from Cécile, the founder of Quartier Artisan.
This winter, I received a call inviting me to be one of the guests at the Kamouraska edition alongside Olivier, founder of Chandaildeloup.com . The big event took place this Monday at the Tête d'allumette microbrewery. A large crowd, a magnificent setting, and several new encounters with local artisans made this event unforgettable. I even met for the first time Atelier Unik-Art , a company from L'Isle-Verte that has been making my wooden labels for several years!
Sleep at the hotel, then return to Quebec City the next day to attend (not participate in) the Quebec City talk with the guest speaker Ritual And Bigarade . Ten minutes before the start, I was informed that she had a prior commitment, and I was asked to replace her. I swapped my seat as a listener for that of a guest. It was a wonderful surprise to be able to talk about my experience selling online in my own city, and especially alongside Rituel, a top-notch company that I've long admired.
I feel truly privileged to have been approached by Quartier Artisan to participate in this unique and memorable event. If you would like details about the evening in Kamouraska, Visage Régionaux has written a article on the subject, focusing more on the content discussed.
